Sustainable Eye Care

We collaborate with the Lions Club Recycle for Sight Program to collect and redistribute usable eyeglasses to those in need, especially in low and middle-income countries. This is essential to our mission to make eye care accessible to everyone.
We are honored to be a participating drop-off location for the Bausch + Lomb ONE by ONE Recycling Program, a pioneering initiative in the U.S. This program enables the proper recycling of contact lens materials through TerraCycle®, ensuring that your efforts to recycle contribute to more than just environmental health. For every 10 pounds of contact lens waste collected, a $10 donation is made to Optometry Giving Sight, supporting global efforts to combat unnecessary blindness and vision impairment.
Aligned with Costa's Kick Plastic initiative, we are committed to reducing our use of single-use plastics. This initiative is part of our effort to protect waterways and marine life, reinforcing our commitment to environmental conservation.
In partnership with the Wilmington Compost Company, we divert organic waste from landfills, transforming it into nutrient-rich soil. This effort benefits the environment by reducing landfill waste and contributes to the sustainability of our local ecosystem.
